Y&R mother Alum Max Page provides post-surgery update
Max Page, formerly Reed Hellstrom in The Young and the Restless, recently had surgery to deal with heart disease he has had since birth. Now, the young actor’s mother Jennifer is sharing an important update following her son’s procedure.
Max Page is no longer in surgery
“Max is in intensive care,” Jennifer Page posted of her son. “We have one of our favorite nurses… Tomorrow he should be awake and start walking, doing breathing exercises and hopefully removing the chest tube.
“We are grateful for the many wins today – no bypass surgery, no transfusions, no complications and no crying mom (that was a special request),” Page adds. “I also had to hold his hand as the nurse rolled him down the hall for pre-op… loud today in different ways… @ maxpage7 @ els_music_20.
Prior to his surgery, Max video messaged his family, friends and fans. “He feels your support! Jennifer said. “Special thanks to @childrensla for always being ready for us… today we pray for the POWER – PRESENCE-PROTECTION of God. And to keep it true #HollywoodHair.

Since his release from Genoa City, Page’s credits have included One Mississippi, Secret Summer, and Between the Darkness. Y&R starred as Reed with actor Tristan Lake Leabu, who has played the role on and off since. Soap Hub sends positive waves to Page for continued recovery.
