Young & Restless’ Elizabeth Hendrickson: 14th anniversary as Chloe

Here comes the happiest of birthdays!

Oh, how time flies. 14 years ago, viewers of Young & Restless were treated to their first glimpse of Jabot’s fashion-forward new stylist, named Chloe, as she secured prepper Lily for a shoot. There wasn’t much to her at first, but it didn’t take long for Chloe and her interpreter, Elizabeth Hendrickson, to figure it out and get a backstory that revealed her as the bitter girl. of Esther, Kate. She had changed her name after feeling that her mother had abandoned her and had become a manipulative, conniving and incredibly magnetic young woman. The rest, as they say, is history.

Hendrickson celebrated her birthday on Instagram with a slew of photos reminiscing about her years in Genoa City and a heartfelt message to those who have followed her for nearly a decade and a half. From magazine covers to behind-the-scenes photos and videos, to a photo of Chloe with the Duchess herself, Katherine Chancellor, Hendrickson has been emptying the vault for her fans!

“The years have flown by,” she wrote, “but it’s only because of all the amazing people I’ve worked with, on and off screen. Most of my years as a adult has moved on to YR and I’m so honored to have been a part of this amazing show for so many years.

“A big to thank you to all the fans who loved and or loved to hate Chloe,” she continued, “and embrace all of her quirks, missteps, and milestones like I have over the years.

Her friends and peers both on and off the show quickly jumped in to celebrate with her.

“Happy birthday my love,” wrote Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea). “We are so lucky to work with you, to play with you, to laugh with you, to learn from you, to ‘fight’ with you, and to attempt to murder each other’s loved ones. Here are 14 more!!!”

Hendrickson, like us, couldn’t help but laugh at the phrase “assassination attempt on another’s loved ones”! “I love you and I have the better time working with you, miss,” she replied.

A number of people couldn’t resist commenting on this stunning first photo!

“I love short hair,” exclaimed Brytni Sarpy (Elena).

Finola Hughes, who had brought Anna from General Hospital to All My Children at the same time as Hendrickson played Maggie, agreed.

“Holy shit,” she replied, “you with that short bob…”

Lauralee Bell (Christine) and Maurice Benard (her Margaux briefly flirted plotted against and flirted with her Sonny on general hospital) both clapped, and Days of Our Lives’ Tamara Braun (Ava) offered her own “congratulations!”

However, we’ll just leave you with the official account from Young & Restless when they wrote, “It’s been 14 years of fun!”
