Young & Restless cast Jeremiah Jahi as Chance’s therapist, Dr. Huffman

Chance finally agreed to seek help for his PTSD and The young and the restless cast former soap opera actor Jeremiah Jahi to play the role of Dr. Huffman. Viewers can expect to see the actor for the first time on Thursday, March 3, when Chance arrives for his first session.

Jahi confirmed the casting, first reported by Soap Opera Digestand said, “Always grateful for the chance to play.”

He may be familiar to fans from his previous roles in the day. In the early 2000s, he appeared on All my children as a funeral home attendant, as well as a nurse. He also had three daytime player roles on As the world turnsplayed two different officers on A life to live and has appeared in many short films.

So, can Dr. Huffman help Chance? Well, we hope so, because if he doesn’t face his demons head on, his marriage to Abby could be in jeopardy, along with his ability to be there for his family and Dominic.

Plus, there’s the fact that he wants so badly to go back to working at the Genoa City Police Department. He was already proven to have returned to the force too soon when he and Rey recently participated in a stakeout. As they parted ways, in order to catch a culprit, a loud crash startled Chance, who grabbed his chest in a panic and left the scene, leaving his partner behind.

His symptoms are understandable given what he witnessed and went through during his undercover mission and we can’t wait to see his recovery, which will most likely be filled with ups and downs.
