The Young and the Restless – Weekly Recap
Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) found her husband alive and well, but was shocked she didn’t want to come home. No sweating. She had a fit and made him feel guilty. The Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) tune changed when he finally met his baby. And, we mean baby. No more blanket package for this family.
The Young and the Restless showed Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) coming home amid the ChanceComm scandal. She has decided to offload the division to the highest bidder. Although it was a loss for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she was on things bigger and better as the new CEO of Chancellor Industries.
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) have cemented their roles at their new law firm. They agreed that this was a big step for each of them, both professionally and personally, because not so long ago these two met and when they did, it was n was not great at first.
The upcoming Y&R week
Young and the Restless spoilers announce that it will be a celebration for the ages. Chance is back in Wisconsin, and no one is more relieved and excited than Abby. She’s waited months and months for this to become her reality and, with the help of Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she throws the biggest and best homecoming party Chance Genoa City has ever seen.
Not everyone is all smiles, especially the guest of honor. Chance has a long road to recovery ahead of it, and the return to civilian life is wreaking havoc. Abby just assumed that everything would be back to normal once Chance returned home, but that just isn’t the case. Chance harbors a lot of the survivor’s guilt because he made it out alive, when most of his friends didn’t, and it eats away at his chance to be happy in the present.
The Young and the Restless shows that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) aren’t stopping yet. The couple agree to give the old college a try once more and accept a fresh start. Later, Phyllis and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) conversation turns melancholy as they discuss the regrets they both have in their hearts.
