Victoria scares Adam

The Young and the Restless recap on Friday, July 23 shocks viewers by showing that Adam Newman is afraid of Victoria Newman, that Elena Dawson is not intimidated by Imani Benedict, and that Lily Winters is really easy to use.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

After supporting Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) on her trip back to New York City, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) fended off Adam’s (Mark Grossman) accusation that she was using the terminally ill man.

When Victoria refused to back down from his taunts, Adam recalled a dream he had had, where Victoria told him that he was the one who had brought her to this level of cruelty.

Ruh-roh! Adam has an idea that he would like to overtake Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Victoria later found an unconscious Ashland. But a glass of water soon pulled him up.

Y&R Recap: Stay-at-Home Mom

Little Johnny Abbott asked Lily (Christel Khalil) about mom’s new sick friend, Ashland. Lily reassured him. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) came home from work with flowers to find Lily passed out, exhausted after spending a few hours playing cards with a 10-year-old boy. What a light weight!

Billy, in turn, was exhausted from lecturing Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about her friendship with Adam. Adam exhausted Sharon by reminding her, once again, that she felt more attracted to him… than to her husband.

Young and Restless: Across Town

Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) attempted to flirt with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Elena (Brytni Sarpy) fired her without even raising an eyebrow. Nate was distraught.

Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) returned to town and admitted that she didn’t kill Richard. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) called District Attorney Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) to take her testimony. Uh… at the restaurant? It doesn’t sound very official.
