The national seven-day daily testing average positivity continues on an upward trend due to an influx of cases in the Lami-Nausori containment zone.

Permanent Secretary of Health Dr James Fong said the test’s positivity currently stands at 4.1%, 0.9% below the World Health Organization’s five percent threshold .

The WHO’s five percent threshold means that a spread of infection is considered too high.
