A few new Crystal Ball picks for a handful of Kentucky basketball recruiting goals arrived over the weekend, but none came in favor of the Wildcats.
247Sports analyst Travis Branham has recorded a “pro” pick for five-star winger Matas Buzelis, who is eyeing the G League with Kentucky, Florida State, North Carolina and Wake Forest. Branham told the Herald-Leader earlier this month he was leaning towards the G League as the likeliest destination for Buzelis, who secured a British offer in December, and now he’s made a ‘high’ pick. trust to back that up.
Branham also recorded a new pick on Saturday in favor of Arizona for five-star forward Kwame Evans Jr., who got an offer from Kentucky last fall. The Pac-12 Wildcats have emerged as a favorite for Evans in recent weeks, and Arizona inside Jason Scheer also recorded a pro-Zona pick for Evans on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, Scheer made a UCLA prediction for Kentucky target Andrej Stojakovic, who got an offer from the UK in April and visited the Bruins last week. Notably, this is the first prediction on Stojakovic’s Crystal Ball page.
