Kentucky basketball recruiting news: Dereck Lively chooses Duke



Dereck Lively II helped lead the team final at the Nike Peach Jam Championship in July.


Basketball star rookie Dereck Lively II pledged to Duke against Kentucky on Monday night, pushing the Blue Devils past the Wildcats for the No.1 Class of the 2022 recruiting cycle, for now. The UK is still targeting five-star big man Adem Bona for his 2022 class, which still has a chance to be ranked No.1 nationally.
