Is Nina the monster who kidnapped Mariah?

Mariah Copeland’s disappearance act gets everyone talking. Y&R spoilers show Abby Chancellor thinks her surrogate has run away, Tessa Porter is begging for an investigation, and Nina Webster, well, she’s acting a bit.

Y&R Spoilers Wild Speculation

It seems quite strange that Nina (Tricia Cast) is living in the mansion with Abby. It’s even stranger how involved she is in the pregnancy. But the strangest thing is how nonchalant she is about Mariah’s disappearance. She’s the calmest of them all and even tries to convince everyone that there’s no need to investigate. But why? Well, soap fans, we think it’s because she’s the kidnapper.

Y&R: is Nina Webster going off the rails

Do you remember Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) having coffee with Nina a few months ago? Do you also remember that she told Nina, who was complaining about the lack of a peaceful workplace, all about that soundproof room in the Chancellor’s mansion? Uh, oh!

Did Nina put that juicy little treat in her back pocket for a rainy day and that day came as Mariah was out jogging while carrying some precious cargo? I can no longer trip the surrogate mother. The best is to lock her up where she can’t hurt herself.

It could also be her past PTSD coming back to haunt her. Poor Nina went through hell when she gave birth to Ronan Malloy. Her baby was snatched from her by the evil Rose DeVille (the late Darlene Conley). Does she think Mariah will fly away with baby Chancellor? Maybe Y&R spoilers tease that this is a risk Nina isn’t ready to take.

We can just see it now, Nina is going down to misery level Annie Wilkes and doing everything in her power to keep Mariah from escaping. Nina might not sound like the type to have a violent streak, but it’s better to hurt Mariah than to let her run off with her grandson, right?

The young and the restless: how far will Nina go?

The big question is, when is Nina going to reveal herself and how long can she continue this masquerade? Mariah doesn’t really have any escape options. Will someone start hunting around the Chancellor’s Mansion and stumble upon the Hidden Room?

Let’s just hope Mariah leaves before the baby is born. Once this baby comes out, Nina will have no reason to keep Mariah alive. I can’t let her reverse the fuse and risk her life behind bars.
