Faced with namaz indignation over indignation in Kashmir, Islamist imperialism is agitated

A thousand-year-old legacy of bigotry and a sense of entitlement is becoming increasingly agitated in India today. Frustration spills over into academia, the media and social networks.

The Kashmir webinar sought to replay the trope that Islamism has successfully established over the centuries: any land where Muslims establish a majority becomes Dar-ul-Islam and a secular state must stop claiming it.

But for Islamists, the reverse should not be true. “Secularism” must be alive, covering the excesses of Islam, until the land is Dar-ul-Harb, that is, when Muslims are in the minority.

This proves that Hindutva fears that parts of Bengal like Murshidabad and Malda, or several districts of Assam like Barpeta, Dhubri, Darrand or Goalpara could one day be called lands under “Indian occupation”.

Kashmir was the seat of the Hindu Shaivite tradition. It is named after the sage Kashyap. Adi Shankarcharya visited the place.

Why should Hindus give up even their sacred spaces and temples for namaz? Will Muslims reciprocate by allowing aarti in mosques?

Are the citizens of Gurugram in Uttarakhand wrong to protest against the regular occupation of public spaces and roads for namaz?

Can you occupy roads even in Muslim countries like UAE for namaz?

The answer to all of this is a categorical ‘no’.

Islamism must curb its imperialist and usurper instincts. India today, or for that matter any civilized nation, will not oblige.
