Conn. Rolling 7-day COVID-19 positivity rate remains below 9% – NBC Connecticut
As of Thursday, Connecticut’s rolling seven-day COVID-19 positivity rate is below 9%.
State data shows the positivity rate currently stands at 8.79%, down 0.02% since Thursday.
Governor Ned Lamont’s office said there were 3,203 of 36,424 positive tests last week and the number of people hospitalized was 259.
The number of patients has dropped by 70 since last week, according to the governor’s office.
The most recent number of deaths from COVID-19 in the state is 10,999.
On Friday, the Biden administration announced it was lifting the requirement for international air travelers to the United States to take a COVID-19 test within a day before boarding their flights.
The United States is ending the COVID-19 testing requirement for international air travel in the country, according to a senior administration source.
